What is the dress code?
Answer. Mention the setting (outdoors on brick, evening temperatures in October).
Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer. A common phrasing: "Your invitation will list everyone in your party. If it says 'and guest', yes."
Are children welcome?
Answer. Be clear and kind either way.
What if it rains?
The ceremony moves indoors to the Arista Mills Room, where the reception is anyway. We'll make the call with the venue the day before.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free self-parking on site at the Brookstown Inn, with accessible spaces near the entrances. See the Location page.
Is the venue accessible?
Mostly, yes. There is an elevator, step-free entrances, accessible parking, and restrooms on the first floor. The one exception is the cocktail hour in the Lower Courtyard, which is reached by a short flight of stairs. Tell us and we'll make sure you're looked after for that hour.
Will there be transportation from the hotels?
There is no shuttle. The reception is at the Brookstown Inn, so if you stay there you're already home. See Travel for airports and hotels.
When should I RSVP by?
Answer. Deadline and a link to RSVP.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer. Many couples ask for an unplugged ceremony and encourage photos at the reception.
